Are you an expert in business applications and do you know exactly how to align IT solutions with business needs?
We are looking for a Business Application Expert who acts as a link between IT and business and optimizes applications to make business processes more efficient.
What will you do?
- Application management and optimization: You are responsible for managing and optimizing business applications such as ERP, CRM and other business information systems.
- Business & IT alignment: You work closely with various departments to translate business needs into technical solutions. You understand the wishes of the business and ensure that the right applications and systems are deployed to support them.
- Configuration and implementation: You guide the implementation of new applications and perform configuration activities to tailor them to our organization.
- Problem analysis and troubleshooting: You solve complex issues that occur in the applications and collaborate with IT teams or external suppliers for advanced support.
- Documentation and training: You document important processes and provide training for end users, so that they can work efficiently with the applications.
- Implement process improvements: You assess existing processes and come up with innovative ideas to improve applications and streamline workflows.
- Stakeholder management: In addition to IT and the business, you work with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Stimulate innovation: You stay up to date on trends and new technologies and identify opportunities to introduce innovative solutions that improve our processes.
Who are you?
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Application Specialist or Consultant.
- Technical knowledge: Experience with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or other business applications.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: You are able to analyze the needs of the business and translate these into IT solutions.
- Project management skills: Experience in leading application implementations and upgrades is a plus.
- Strong communication skills: You know how to explain complex technical information in a simple way to stakeholders without a technical background.
- Proactive attitude: You take initiative and come up with new ideas without being explicitly asked.
- Customer-oriented thinking: You understand that IT solutions must ultimately support the business and its customers, and you are able to come up with customer-oriented solutions.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.
